Krod Rojanastien adds that he’s confident Hua Hin can achieve the required herd immunity in time. The Bangkok Post reports that as of yesterday, 55% of Hua Hin’s 90,564 residents have been vaccinated, with 59.2% of those having had their first dose and 22.2% fully vaccinated. Krod plans to ask Tourism Minister Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn for help in allocating 30,000 – 40,000 vaccine doses by this month. Krod is optimistic that if Thailand’s […]

Dont forget to click this link at the bottom of the rosy article .

For more information on how to get into Thailand during the pandemic, CLICK HERE.

Don't forget your COE, Covid tests, health Insurance, Covid insurance etc.

They always love to "target" x number of tourists and lets not forget the "wealthy" tourists they plan to attract.  Its all a bunch of BS. They have no idea how to target or attract wealthy tourists. shooting from the hip and in the dark.

They have 1 month to vaccinate and wait for vaccines to fully work at least 2-3 weeks after the second jab to be fully vaccinated... what's the odds they achieve this ! 🤔

Thailand is stuck in lockdown thinking and maybe that's good for Thai citizens but it is yesterdays news. If Thailand wants tourists in 2021 it's going to have to starting talking about inducements not sandboxes CoEs and mandatory insurance. Europe is open to almost all countries, Thailand should take note.

The Bangkok Post reports that as of yesterday, 55% of Hua Hin’s 90,564 residents have been vaccinated, with 59.2% of those having had their first dose and 22.2% fully vaccinated.

????

55% of 90.564 is 49.810

They say:

Of those 59.2% had 1 jab = 29.487

And 22.2% had both jabs = 11.057

So how about the missing 18% ???

What did they have? Because 59.2+22.2 does not equal 100%

Already flawed figures.

But assuming that 11.057 have been jabbed twice then THAT is the number of vaccinated people for the purpose of deciding resistance against the virus.

11.057/90564= 12.2%

WAY OFF the 75% required for opening up.

And don't forget they never say when they had the second dose as not fully effective until 14 + days after

It’s late and I may have misread this @Bob20, but could the missing percentage be children? Is the population of 90,574 inclusive of people under 16?
