Now if only Thai’s will practice mitigation standards the spike won’t be as severe

Yes, like at Songkran 😉

Sad fact is that everyone disagrees with the government, until their decision suits them.

Lifting restrictions will mean some will go to the limit of what's allowed. And it only takes a small number to spread Delta to start the problems from scratch in unvaccinated areas.

We hope, as it seems the vaccination program has resulted in less cases around Bangkok.

Unfortunately many other provinces have had no where near the amount of vaccines they require to make any impact on the spread of the virus. So some bright spark thinks infections are down we can open inter provincial travel again.

It's like ground hog day from Sonkran.

Spot on @Bob20  In the U.K. even the main news channels had an agenda to ridicule and test the boundaries of restrictions. Looking back, the government should have simply said:

Do not go out at all. ALL business’s shut for 2 weeks. Live off what you have in the house. Most of you are well overweight anyway so you won’t die. Drink water from the tap.

But because they attempted to strike a balance and allow people to meet outside and exercise outside and go to supermarkets etc, people were asking stupid questions like “what’s the definition of outside”? “Is meeting one adult the same as meeting two small children?”  Madness and I wouldn’t have kept my temper. I’d have simply said the above and 2 weeks later the cases would have a dramatic fall. The Virus doesn’t travel on its own, it hitches a ride inside of people!
