Quote: Piya says charges may also be brought against the parents of underage protesters, warning that they could face a maximum of 3 months in prison and/or a fine of up to 30,000 baht.

So once again they are considering charging the parents for their kids doings. Go ahead, this should fuel the hatred and anti them brigade all that much more. Turn up the heat and masses.

I'm a parent here with 3 children, but my kids are all over 18 now. But I can tell you my daughter when 17 last year and her whole class attended one of them at 3 kings monument. It's their lives, their future, not ours. And being serious, besides my aunt we really don't know anyone who supports them and who wants them to stay. If it has to go down a dirtier road then that is the road that needs to be traveled.

This administration likely has an approval rating of 1-2%, at this stage. They need to go. And unlike in the past, now the older generation wants to see them go too. The latest vax and covid failures, are all that was needed, for the die hards to finally see the light.

He has devastated millions of lives, with his failed policy and lack of leadership, and this is not just about Covid. That will be used as the excuse. But, we all know better. Thailand was going backwards for years, prior to Covid. There is no need to stick with the dinosaurs, or attempt to put a heroin dealer in charge. This will only increase the backwards spin the nation is experiencing now, and reinforce the corruption and rot.

However, it would be a far better path if Thailand could find someone like Thanathorn. A younger, brighter, more progressive person who can lead Thailand into the future, arrest the severe backward trajectory, inspire confidence, attempt to restore tourism (I do not think it will ever come back, to even 20% of what it was before Covid, for a dozen reasons), and encourage foreign investment. Also, it is likely a younger statesman would not possess the kind of toxic xenophobia that is rampant in this administration. It would be better on so many levels.

Whatever we can do, to make their jobs harder, to put obstacles in their path, to resist, defy, and offend, is a good thing.

Civil disobedience of any sort is a good move, at this point.

They do not deserve our respect.

They do not deserve our obedience.

They deserve nothing but scorn, hate, resistance and a total lack of fealty.

Kudos and victory to the youth. May they prevail. Down with the toxic dinosaurs, who are leading Thailand toward the bottom of African nation status.
