When referring to boosters, I trust you're speaking of the tweaked variety, less the original - which are fastly proving less effective among the ever-changing mutations.

Those who are stagnant, have politically muddled, and running behind with their vaccines programs will have to reboot the schemes to fit the current strain.

Boosters are simply to compensate for vanishing immunity response. Phizer will be approved in US this month. Variations annot be predicted, but so far 6 month boost is recommended for all variations we know. It's a catch 21 now, longer it takes to immunize the population, more shots will be needed to keep it up. April vaccinated will need a boost next month and then in May 2022.... And go on

Except that in a very recent study, reported by the BKK Post, Sinovac induced antibodies halve every 40 days. So maybe they mean "herd immunity" the natural way + vaccines, which raises the question of what their true case count is. One thing's for sure, China doesn't count asymptomatic cases in its tally. Which is basically "cheating...in your face". Something that China is kinda accustomed to of course.

Hold on there cowboy!

Dr. John Campbell's latest YouTube video (from Saturday) says that 2 jabs + catching the Covid ("natural" immunity) may create the best conditions to fight Covid.

Also, where are the peer reviewed long term clinical trials, to assure us all about safe practices?

Aren't these trials expected to end in 2023?  After that, data can be collected and analyzed.  Oh wait, that will be  almost two years after full approval by some dumbass governments.  Nothing to see here.

A brief but deservedly sharply pointed post.  And your debut post, too, so thanks for that!

China in the last few months has had an uptick in cases. But it's not the original strains, it's the Delta variant. So now China is experiencing what it's like to combat Delta. I fully expect China will have a large scale resurgence of the Delta variant, as India did. The vaccines they developed have less efficacy against Delta (as has Pzifer, Moderna and AZ...but to a lesser extent). As many countries are now experiencing, Delta is far more infectious and is no longer the virus that kills the elderly. Clearly, Delta kills across th age spectrum. THailand has already seen that. So the though that somehow China can side step Delta is a fantasy.
