"If over 10% of the employees test positive, employers must find a location to quarantine all of their workers for 14 days.

Then, while the workers are in quarantine, employers need to provide their workers with basic necessities such as food and water. "

so how many employers will actually admit to over 10% of their workers are infected?

Great idea! Ffs

Why "workers" in quotes here?

This is obviously aimed/ targeted at migrant workers - typically Burmese  (Myanmarese? not sure what the politically correct term is these days).

I think the definition of a worker in this instance is one who is paid and does work themselves, so hence more attributable to a migrant than a Thai whose definition is one who is paid but looks on at others working.😂

Many companies operate  with very little working capital ! To force these companies to provide extra’s is a stretch.
I would go out on a limb and say ,push to shove they would close shop and go out of business, wait a few months and form again under new ownership.

Zero. Here in the industrial estates, especially after the closure of a big factory (4000 employees) factories no longer send employees to get tested at a government run testing center but rather a private clinic. They’ll dish out the extra costs of the tests and clinics silence to keep the factory up and running.

Also apparently they found 300? Cases at the earlier factory mentioned. Don’t want to say the name.

Foreign workers have been the seeding event that have caused the upsurge in cases in Thailand. Don't turn on these people. The same thing happened in Singapore....remember?? Singapore managed to get that situation under control (once it was realised). So can Thailand!
