Unused Phuket Prison to be field hospital

A Phuket prison that was collecting dust is now being put back into use, but not for warehousing humans until they reform and can be released back into society. Rather, the prison is going to be converted into another field hospital to help the island handle the increasing Covid cases, said governor Narong Woonciew earlier this week. Why would anyone think that's a good look PR wise? Test positive and off to your quarantine prison. Quite literally. If you didn't have PTSD before, you will soon.

Field hospitals aren't available to tourists / sandbox arrivals ..... but don't let the facts put you off .....

I agree with Harry.  The big hotels should give back to the community and forget about the almighty dollar.

Sandbox needs 2 elements.

- tourists

- healthy Thai people to service the tourists
