A seemingly freak accident startled and confused a Chon Buri couple when a stray bullet came through their bedroom window. The couple live in a 2 story house in Nong Ree in Mueang Chon Buri and were in bed upstairs in the master bedroom when the incident occurred. Police were called on Thursday about the random bullet and met with the 33 year old man at his house to go over the incident and inspect the window. That “bullet” hole is from a BB gun, most likely air soft gun with a metal ball. Used to accidentally shoot windows all the time as a kid and the blown out section indicates which side the ball hit. A bullet hole would have cracking all around the glass from the high velocity of the bullet and you would also have an accompanying hole in a wall somewhere as the glass would not slow the projectile enough. Hope the police here have better investigation skills than the reporters. Though it is nice to see a story not about Covid at least.

definitely a bb pellet. Seen a few, had it been a real bullet the glass may not be there.

DId they search the inside of the room for the "bullet" ?

Who determined this was a "random" BB shot?  How do we know that they couple (or one of them) was being delivered a message for some reason.

I see nothing in the story that definitively indicates this to be "random".

While you may have unintended consequences, there is no such thing as a "freak accident" with any type of firearm.  An unarmed firearm is a non-lethal firearm.  If you load it, it is only with the intention of firing it.
