Shocking how many people are debating the virus and vaccination when the story is whether Thailand will be open for tourism in November.
Is there some fundamental reason that people have to trot out their soapbox theories and opinions on every damned thread in the forum?
Many businesses both big and small have gone under. It's sad to see places closed even if I didn't go there because it represents people's livelyhood. I live in a small place and initially welcomed the lighter traffic and smaller crowds, but now realize unlimited closures are a mistake. People are hurting not only from the virus but from having their hopes and dreams distroyed, There needs to be some balance.
Your opinion is valid but my opinion is based on the fact that severe lockdowns were implemented to achieve their NZ goal. This destroyed the lives on many individuals, families and also businesses. All this because it seem to be a contest between NZ and Aust on who could keep covid to zero despite the colateral damage. Dumb.
I am not scared of Covid but joined the experiment and had 2 shots of Pfizer to help us all get our freedom back. I like many people will be extremly pixxed of if the "dumb" do not change their ways of thinking.
Does the article say they have completed phase 1 to 3 trials? That's what takes time. The Chulalongkorn University is akso in trials now. So mRNA technology is moving along swiftly. DEvelopment of production technology is a big hurdle.
