The historic shrine has become known as the “monkey temple” as it is home to a […]

Like soi dogs they need thinning out by the army, make good rifle practice. We have them near us and sometimes they round a few dozen up- and dump them in another location!

in other wildlife news:  today i saw the largest pack of feral mutts i have ever seen in pattaya.  they charged me, but i slowed way down and inched my way out of there. (on a bicycle)  it was scary as hell.

if you are a bicyclist, i recommend main roads only.  there are a lot more desperate mutts out there.

Absolutely! NEVER ride on a less traveled road. There are plenty of mainstream roads on the Dark Side that are mostly dog free and beautiful rides. This is one of my favorites and goes on to Khao Chee Chan (Buddha Mountain). Note the stick in the front basket for our four legged "friends."

Is there any chance they can take them down to the next Democracy demonstration to battle the police?

I think they are not happy with government and protest, too. Maybe they could arrange a march to the governments house?!

If they brought the monkeys down to Bangkok for the next protest, the protestors could throw bananas at the police and release the monkeys.

The monkeys would charge the police for the bananas. It would be the charge of the Monkey Light Brigade.

The police would swipe at the monkeys with their batons. The monkeys would bite the police, and the police would throw down their batons and flee in terror.

It could work . . .

He always reminds me of the kid on the cover of Mad Magazine.

He is quite intelligent. See how he is holding her hand so she does not steal his smart phone in his back pocket?
