Yesterday saw 2 morbid benchmarks surpassed as daily infection numbers crept past 10,000 for the first time and daily Covid-19 deaths were over 100 for the first time. The Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration will be assessing options and tighter restrictions seem imminent now after a meeting of top level officials yesterday. Beavis and Butthead and Dumb and Dumber will attend too, to help government making better decisions.

They just promoted my idea that I posted here a few days ago.

Uk and Russia is in the top 10 in terms of new daily cases. Thailand is on the right track to join this club.

My suggestion is to create a reverse travel bubble with these countries, so our infected people could travel freely with their infected people. TAT is already looking into this revolutionary idea.

If they put all provinces in the deep red zone they'll have achieved their goal of being all red just like their Chinese cousins ??

Vast majority of Thai households are multi-generational. So when they impose lockdowns a whole lot of people are going to get infected when they stay home. It’s making it worse. Especially so when there are not enough beds, tests and vaccines

But hey at least Phuket is fully vaccinated with at least one dose!

It's an interesting point. It's definitely worth our consideration.

Ru suggesting that vaccines would help? Don't make the same mistake as stardust. :)

Covid-19 is not going away. It's been 1.5 years. Lock downs and quarantines are not helping much. Open up, end this madness. It's the responsibility of the individual to protect themselves, no one else. After all, it's really not the black plague, small pox, or polilo.  Only a very small percentage actually get infected, a even smaller percentage of these have symptoms at all, and a even smaller percentage of these people die. This pandemic is more painc stricken than anything else. Trying to control it only prolongs it.

Absolutely it’s already been proven even before Indonesia’s and Malaysia’s dependence on Sinovac vaccines that Chinese vaccines are subpar. Western countries have not given EUA to Chinese vaccines only the WHO. The threshold to gain EUA from the WHO is only 50%. Sinovac  was approved with only 51% effectiveness at the time of its application. Pfizer and Moderna were over 80%

Yeah but this is the good red, not hat red color that their arch nemeses on exile took.

Where those quality vaccines come from? Thailand didn't book any for almost a year and now last in the line, didn't join any groups, got locally made AZ which cannot even cover Thai population and already sold millions to other countries in SEA. Get what you can and vaccinate as many people as you could. Boost with with so called quality vaccine later. 10 percent better immune response is better than none

Laos, those bunch of idiots is a third-world country that's why they joined Covax .  As long as we can produce our own vaccine everyone else can go and funk themselves.
