If crowds are indeed a justification why not

  • MRT
  • BTS
  • Bus
  • Temples
  • Mosques
  • Churches
  • Parliament
  • 24x7 curfew
  • Many more such examples

It may sound silly but its an extension of the  "Its better than nothing" policy, which at its core seems like the worst of all worlds.

In the short or the long term, lockdowns get us nowhere and are face saving actions  that distract us from realising that the current  zero infection target and continual mass testing is misguided and ineffective

Like Singapore has come to realise, the only viable outcome is eventual herd immunity and they have abandoned futile interim measures like lockdowns and mass testing,

We need to bite the bullet and face harsh facts that when it comes to containment, C19 is analogous to the flu and can only be handled as such.

In the meantime, millions suffer from the fallout of the well meaning but ineffective policies.

We need to organise a citizens group, with bite, that works with Government, allowing them to make better decisions, without having to worry about their political enemies exploiting C19 fatalities in the future
