The Curse (2022) Six thirty-minute episodes  https://www.imdb.com/title/tt16352098/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

Channel 4 (UK) comedy about a useless 1980s crime gang who pull off the biggest gold heist ever.
Starring Steve Stamp, Abraham Popoola, Natalie Klamar, Emer Kenny.

A bit of fun, nothing serious at all. The fashions at the time were well done, making it funny in itself.

The series is being shown right now on C4 now, but it is all available on torrent.

The Hunt ( 2020 )

Action/Thriller ( or foul mouthed bloodfest to be more accurate).

A group of liberal elites kidnap 12 nobodies picked for their controversial web content , take them to a secure isolated location and hunt them. Called The Manor and widely thought to be a myth it becomes a reality when some text messages are leaked. Lead by the insanely rich and insanely insane Athena ( Hilary Swank ) it all goes a little wrong when one of the hunted turns it around.

Okay, so it’s pure escapism , totally unbelievable and probably overrated but I enjoyed the gratuitous violence, the dark humour and the political satire aimed at both Libs and Dems and their stereotypical reactions to each other.

Absolutely loving it !!

3 of the “ People just do nothing “ series back together as 3 adorable gangster losers. Mick the brain dead boxer , and habitual liar,  completes the gang of amateur wannabes.

Some great characters.

Yes, that was all very strange.

Sion Jenkins, the step - father wrote a book about it all, which I read. Within the first chapter, it was clear to me that he murdered her, as his account was just too obscure.

He lied about a lot of things - saying he taught at Gordonstoun school & his teaching qualifications.

He had also been violent towards the children.

Certainly a fascinating story, but poor Billie- Jo, is still dead

Downfall: The Case Against Boeing (2022) 1hr 29mins  https://www.imdb.com/title/tt11893274/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0

A Netflix production.
After showing the two fatal crashes in Indonesia and Ethiopia, the documentary looked into the background behind the design of the 737 MAX and the politics behind why there was no documentation anywhere regarding an additional MCAS system.
It was all down to money.

Definitely worth watching.

Available on torrent.

Lies We Tell (2017) 1hr 49mins  https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4423984/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0

Crime thriller. A trusted driver in Bradford has to deal with his dead boss' Muslim mistress, her dark past pulling him into a life-and-death showdown.

I thought it was an excellent film. Perhaps if you're not British you might not appreciate highlighting the cultural differences between the groups involved.

Starring Harvey Keitel, Gabriel Byrne, Sibylla Deen, Judith Barker, Reece Ritchie, Toyah Willcox.

Available on torrent.  Also on youtube

Yes it was.
But Toyah Wilcox? Martha and the Muffins were a Canadian group.

Edit: It looks like she released a version about ten years after Martha and the Muffins?

Hailing from Bradford I will give this a go but the 4.1 imdb rating will mean I will have my finger hovering over the delete button !!

I did watch it all the way through but thought it pretty bad, a shame as I like Keitel, Byrne and Mark Addy.
