Perhaps someone could enlighten me. This report states that there are ongoing discussions with different agencies as well as PTT, yet the company where this disaster occurred was named earlier as Ning Dih Chemical Co.  So that suggest it was a wholly owned company of PTT does it not if they are in the discussions ?

That being the case then I would expect that apart from paying off a few people then this story will eventually be lost in time with nothing changing as PTT is state owned and is populated by many ex army generals on high salaries.

I have flown into that airport there literally hundreds + of times. That area has produce and rice grown and if remember maybe some aquaculture, and the soil and the pond water there surely will be polluted. But might be a good time to have a garden at the house, just might have the vegetables double in size.

perhaps after this incident the Thai Government will give more serious consideration to Zoning Laws, keep residential and industrial areas apart, further apart.
