The registration for entering Thailand under the slated “Samui Plus” reopening scheme is planned to open this week. Similar to the Phuket “Sandbox,” the programme will allow foreign tourists who are vaccinated against Covid-19 to travel to the trio of islands in the Gulf of Thailand off the Surat Thani coast. So be locked in your room for 3 nights instead of one, and afterward be restricted to sealed routes (whatever that means). I'd rather stay in Phuket. It escapes me how someone came up with an idea even worse than Phuket and it's suppose to draw tourists!?!

Ridiculous,

The Island itself is a controlled environment.. It's about the money with the "TOUR" guides and the excessive testing..

shame hardly anyone has been vaccinate on these islands yet, I know one older farang lady that has had it, thats it, they are apparently offering us sinovac on friday, they can poke that up their bum, will take anything apart from the Chinese or Russian ones.

Maybe that's the whole reason for the "plan" - nobody there gives a stuff about it as they know it's pointless, but some bright spark has realised that it's a good way to jump the queue and get vaccinated ...

It's a shame that experimental vaccination is getting a must have entry ticket as planned forced vaccination by the big pharma. All people should stay at home as a sign of protest. Vaccination is killing your freedom and is not a traveling document!

How is vaccination killing peoples freedom? Given that you are unable to travel to a number of countries unless you have been vaccinated, then it is quickly becoming a travelling document
