After a group of rival students fired guns on the beach in front of the Pattaya Police Station, police vowed to crack down on illegal activities including drinking. What is it with young Thais and their school rivalries that go this far? Even in the US where we basically shoot each other for no good reason we would find this kind of rivalry just stupid.

Maybe they need to deal with the easy access firearm issue across the country sooner rather than later, it's a bit more serious than they seem to think at present.

The other day it was drunk policeman in car with gun shooting people and today it's drunk school students with guns shooting at people..... does anyone see and common links that need addressing.
