Ban Pong Police is on the lookout for an armed robber who held up a gold shop inside Big C in Baan Pong district and got away with about 800,000 baht worth of gold. Joking, that was the night shift watching for the culprit, the dayshift isn't starting something that close to the end of their shift. 🙊😇

Wearing the masks for covid is a perfect disguise and no shop will suspect a robber if they walk in with one. Needs to be a guard on the door with a gun like in the Philippines.

Years ago this was the case in Thailand.

Guards with shotguns outside every shop, don't know the reason for stopping this practice.  ??? tourism, safety???
