On Tuesday, police seized a huge amount of cannabis – 203 kilograms – which was smuggled into Thailand from Laos. Police arrested three Thai men in Bueng Kan province in northeast Thailand who picked up the cannabis on the border. Police don’t know what kind of punishment the men will be given, seeing as this is the first case of its kind since cannabis was decriminalised in Thailand on June 9. A bit hasty with their unclear decriminalization. Coming back to bite them in many ways. I suspect this will persist as many more kinks they never thought of unfold

Incompetant Government making incompetant laws, no surprises then after 8 years.

Pnut is still baffled why the opposition want a no confidence vote against him and his incompetants.

Cannabis laws were one of the first mentioned, which has more holes than a sieve, policy made on the run by incompetants who have no idea.

Hopefully soon he and his dolts will be gone, they have driven the country into the ground financially, but have an aircraft carrier and subs with no engines they can use for tourist attractions proclaiming the preparedness of the Thai Armed Forces.🤣

Ooopps sorry let the cat out of the bag that's Pnuts next job as tour guide.

The cop in charge of this bunch isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer, and apparently doesn't have, or know how to use, a cell phone.

More amusing if it was 200kgs of sex toys, which are definitely contraband.  Can you imagine the long faces of the cops involved, forced to pose in the Big Bust Photo holding up illegal dildos.  🤣

So, is it still a "prohibited item", or have they merely dodged import taxes (if any) and VAT?

Failed to present an invoice to Customs, perhaps? 😅
