Last month, locals had complained about the tourists on Second Pattaya Road getting in the way of other drivers. Between last night and this morning, residents near Soi Yensabai and Soi Sunee complained that bike racers were disturbing their sleep. A police team then rushed to the area. Good. Noisy tourists. It is a good thing the Thai themselves do not ride noisy bikes. Or noisy supercars. So the police do not have to arrest them.

Now it is time for my Red Bull.

They sometimes force other drivers to wait for them to squeeze by, and some of the drivers loudly yell “Whoo!”

LOL🤩

They should be quietly yelling  "Whoo"- it is night-time after all.
I always thought that was the word used to describe a buffalo farting underwater. 🤣
(it's an old joke)

Not a peep about the locals who ride open/modified exhaust scooters, which are a lot louder than these bikes.  No no it's all the tourists fault.

I guessed by the headline these would be M.E. types.

I've seen some spectacular Arabic street racing videos on YT, from the driver's POV.

Really some masterful road-work.

However, there are equally spectacular crashes, with bodies flying from windows like ragdolls.

The restrictive religious culture bans everything else, so this is what youngsters do for kicks.

We don't need it in Thailand tho' we have enough road mayhem already.

And better ways to get young blood pumping!

Young arab guys are some of the most inconsiderate tourists I have run into in Thailand.  I used to stay at a hotel they frequented and these guys would blast music and slam doors in the middle of the night without the slightest consideration for anyone.

Riding recklessly without license, helmet and insurance. These guys should be put behind bars for jeopardizing public road users.

Ha ha! As long as the police run it on a racist non-Thai only basis.
Otherwise if they did that to everyone, probably half the population would be behind bars.

Yeah, it is a very well known fact that young people outside the arabic world are quiet and considerate, never blasting music and slaming doors, especially when they are full of alcohol and drugs, only the arabs do that.
