The so-called restaurants had been operating undercover as bars and shisha lounges while the Covid-19 emergency decree closed all evening entertainment venues, banned alcohol, and restricted gatherings. Additionally, shisha has been illegal in Thailand for years. Despite attempting to disguise their activities as a restaurant, alcohol […]

Thank you for a laugh, hiding under the tree brunches and escaping from the high floor, this could be a next Netflix badass movie. Too bad it just shows how stupid people could be. Hopefully they pay fines and spend time in a monkey house, i heard it's a pretty harsh conditions there in Pattaya

More likely to die in a car accident bud.  You should stay locked inside your house for the rest of your life just to be safe.

He thinks you can lock the young genration for years? He has never been 18 or a teenager? It is also selfish not to think about the young generation and how it was we were 18 and wanna stay with friends and partying. By the way what happened with hisos who were partying in Thonglor? What kind of charges they got? I also see the problems for clubbing but I also understand what does it means for the young generations and over a long period. As teenagers we wanted to meet our friends and this is the same nowadays I guess.

Just go full lockdown with stiffer penalties and shut violating premises down. Need to be taught a lesson, covid is here to stay so lockdown or open up and roll out vaccine.

Fair comment, for sure, if only Thailand and BKK in particular had a working police force which made a visible effort to enforce restrictions, rules and laws. With the 'mai pen rai' - it's OK, no worries - attitude prevailing, there'll be precious little applying of penalties, stiff or otherwise.
