I know 0 people whos parents died from pneumonia, although I know people who have gotten pneumonia, including my parents and myself. Meanwhile covid has been around for 2 years and I know a few friend's parents who've died from it and also people who have gotten Covid.
At this point you're just twisting your argument from the actual issue which is covid, to what does the word "pandemic" really mean. But if people I know are getting it and friends parent's are dying, that's good enough for me to take it seriously.
Imagine if your grandparents could have been alive today if there were better measures that prevented them from getting pneumonia because that's exactly what the world is trying to prevent with covid.
Wait, are u really whining about what I said? My very first line I stated it wasn't aimed at you personally (and it wasn't). I put it as the first line so you wouldn't get your knickers in a twist.. It just gets old when people pull out the same straw-man label, it's like the debate definitions have enabled everyone who doesn't have a clue to be able to believe they're little linguistic-professors. It's usually the folks that are 'challenged' that pull these out and feel like He-Man-Master-of-the-universe. It's a bit... blah... Pleading to the mods is also sad. I did not insult you. I insulted using these terms as a way to shut down honest debate. I certainly did not call you a nazi or racist or whatever. I take my top hat and tap dance away now..
In the words of Charlie Brown 'good grief...'
