Here we go again.  I knew it was too good to be true.  First, they're unclear on the mask mandate and then comes an extension of the emergency decree.  I have no confidence that the Thailand Pass is going to be lifted on the first.  The government's attempt to stifle the voice of their opposition is going to wreck the economy and make the ordinary citizen pay the price for their political tactics.

You can literally hear the tourist cancellations happening all over the unmasked world. When will this government get a clue?

This appears to be old news... "The Thai Government, in a late-night order released around 10:00 P.M. on June 23rd, 2022, has dropped a divisive mask mandate in all public areas" As published in the gazette 24 June

No need to hope, it's official.

There is no government mask mandate in any setting in Thailand now.

Mask wearing is recommended but voluntary.

We are no more the land of smiles,but the land of masks.

Even though mask mandate is lifted, everyone still have mask on, will they keep them on for rest of thier lives ?
