It wouldn't surprise me if this was his statement as he has expressed similar remarks in the past.

Now the WHO has recently conducted a country review of the pandemic in Thailand, one of the first 4 countries to have done so. So the timing of the comments also seems about right. So in my opinion, it is likely something was said or they "selectively picked" it from a broader conversation. 😁

Now, whether such a statement reflects an accurate assessment of the performance by Thailand during the Pandemic....that is well open to opinion and debate with many members quite happy to offer an alternative view!

Lets see

Very late starting anything by way of manageing Covid.

Bought over priced dud vaccines from China.

When it was under control told everyone to have a good Song Krong holiday and spread it around the country.

Going from less than 100 deaths to the current 29,884 in just over a year.

Misrepresent the true number of cases by any means possible to benefit tourism.

and on it goes ......

WHO have lost the plot if they think this is well managed, hate to see what they believe is badly managed.

But the bigger question is does anyone really care what corrupt elite medical bureaucrats give out as grades?

To this day, how does Thailand justify the excessive hospitalization of healthy COVID positive test patients?

It’s a waste of resources and makes them I’ll prepared for a bad flare up that is likely to come.
