Ukraine/Russian Conflict - General Discussion
I am not going down any hole. They are puppet states recognized by Russia, a UN member, and that bastion of human rights Syria. My point is that Russia can publicly say “Not up to me. Up to you” to the DPR & LPR. -

News Forum - Thailand: Don’t answer calls starting with +697, it’s a scam
If a number starting with +697 rings you, don’t answer. Thailand’s Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (DES) says it is most likely a scam call centre trying to swindle you out of money. In a smart move to combat call centre scams, Thailand’s National Broadcasting Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) has purposefully added the prefix +697 to IP calls to help people identify potential scammers. Internet Protocol (IP) calls are not registered with the authorities and are untraceable. News Forum - Thai government plans Foreigner dual pricing for hotel rooms | GMT
Oh she'd be there with me as well of course ;) I wonder how they would react cause technically she has booked it and she's Thai. Even better if they force Airbnb to follow suit and implement a two tier pricing system or any other villa rental site for that matter. With a hotel, each guest typically has to present their passport, not so with Airbnb. When you rent a villa, you can just book it for one person even though it has capacity for a lot more people. Price is usually the same regardless if you stay in the villa with one or with 3 people so the owner or custodian (or whatever you call the person who takes care of that propoerty for the owner) doesn't care. The first person checks in, waits for the custodian to leave and you come in a little while later. No fuss, no stress and lower prices :D
