Define "natural disaster to disrupt our world".

I reckon it's intended to mean "natural disaster to globally disrupt human's societies", in which case the likeliest disaster by far is the same as has been in the last couple of millennia, i.e. "humans" (who are quite natural to this world, so whatever they inflict is natural).

My short-term (1-5 generations) prediction is: a diminishing availability of exploitable energy sources and a reduction of livable areas, accompanied by some nasty wars aimed at gaining ownership of those resources.

Human Overpopulation, Pollution & Technology over last hundred years are very much NOT “ Natural”.

Famine, Drought, Flooding are Localized & More Common with Earthquakes, Tsunamis, Eruptions being hundred -year events with wifer impact.

Single Giant Volcanic Eruption would blot out the Sun for years ( 536 AD last time).

Which & When ? Completely Unknown😉

A bigger and better COVID, its not over yet says Bill Gates , I tend to believe that.

They're working on the next one as we speak.

Something to look forward to as we keep our usual blind eye.

Human Overpopulation

Lets get a birds eye view of that.

Absolutely beautiful from up there, but only pin pricks if you look at the whole planet.

I think that video of the world from space would emphasize the need to spread out a bit more rather than congregate and damage the planet with close nit cities and all of the compressed pollution they cause👍

Never know what nature might or might not dish out....

That's what makes life so exhilarating - random and unpredictable.

We really don't have much hold on anything, even if try to believe that we do.

Well....some factions of the species, perhaps.

Find themselves of a deluded manner.

No. Everyone in fact. “ Everyone got a plan …until you get punched in the face” (Mike Tyson). 😎

Canada tried spreading out but the minus 40 c temps further north forced everybody back hugging the US border 🤣😩😂

interesting that certain areas comprising 40% of Spain & France & Scotland of course are barely inhabited. 😎😩too cold arid remote.

The same applies in many countries, Australia for example.  Bushfires are an annual occurrence in many States and often ignited by lightning yet people build communities in the bush then complain 'something needs to be done about it' when homes are burnt to the ground 😕

This report and video from Aljazeera > https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2022/7/21/wildfires-rage-in-europe-what-where-and-why

Climate change alone may not be enough to qualify as a major natural disaster if we accept human involvement over many decades but it's also due to planetary alignment and solar activity which is currently affecting Earths atmosphere.

Unless there’s a wholesale government buy back program, they won’t be going anywhere. Who in their right mind would pay to live there now? Part of the problem has been poor water management; with the water authority failing to preemptively release sufficient water into rivers. They are now looking at extending the height of the dam walls by 14 metres in a bid to avert the problem of opening the flood gates whilst it’s raining. Buying on flood plain has its risks, but you’ve got to feel for the buggers- 4 times in the one year.

Don't worry, all of the climate activists are stopping their populating, give it 30 years and we will all be back to normal👍

I remember learning back in school how the aborigines would light fires in the bush for " balance" of nature

Caption this one... lol.

Move over Monkey Pox, we've got Cat b(p)ox! 🤣😂🤣🤪

Cat-to-human Covid link found in Thailand suspected "case" detected in Songkhla was first of its kind but researchers say risk is low.

They should now also test for all of the other viruses and bacteria and parasites that are also at a low risk to humans (sarcasm)... we could create a few more pandemics for the those invested in the mayhem eh? Testing, Testing, Testing, More testing is required, how will we know how bad it really is? Lol. This reporting screams of a disingenuous campaign to continue to scare the public. It says right in the article it is of low risk. So why report on this?

https://www.bangkokpost.com/thailand/general/2324233

That story is pure fantasy and completely debunked. Some vet in denial about passing covid to her patient and its owners does not make evidence of a line of transmission that has already been disproved by science.
