According to a Nation Thailand report, Kiattiphum Wongrajit from the health ministry says the vaccine rollout, coupled with home isolation programmes and outpatient schemes, has contributed to the significant improvement in the capital’s Covid-19 situation. Yesterday, Thailand reported fewer than 10,000 new infections for the second day in a row, the lowest since February. Nearly all Bangkok residents have now received 2 doses of a Covid-19 vaccine, with around 60% of residents having had at least 1 […]

Public parks are high risk areas? 🤠🤡

What a joke! Any outdoor venue is as low risk as it gets..........

Even bars and pubs are not super high risk. most transmission occurs at home, workplaces and mass social settings.

Yes bars and pubs have some risk / transmission but they're no more risky than say the indoor basketball club for example.

hahaha public parks will kill you !! who knew hahaha

now get rid of mask mandate ASAP

This just shows how unfit these people are at managing the response.

If you truly wanted to help, you’d make it easier to work out comfortably at the gym or at the park. If you can wear a mask while working out, you’re probably not putting in enough effort. Losing weight not only makes you healthier over all but also helps when you’re inevitably infected with covid.

I have never heard such stupid remarks than this Web site. Number are down because they don't test or record anything. Offcourse numbers come down. The danger is worse because foreigners can enter bring more strains and risk higher. Thailand be careful.

But what is an endemic? "For epidemiologists, infection is endemic when the rate of new infections remained stable," says Aris Katzourakis, genomics professor of evolutionary science at the University of Oxford (UK) in the journal Nature 24th January. A disease may be endemic in some areas and not in others, such as malaria, or cause waves in some seasons, like the flu in winter.

the flu in 14-18 was also endemic but caused millions of deaths, more than the war...in 3 waves

We've been wrong about everything so far, including recently predicting spikes of 100k cases post songkran, but don't worry, we know what we are doing, we'll protect you by implementing meaningless empty gesture restrictions.

Many countries in Asia has opened up and normalize to almost pre-pandemic and ease most restrictions. Good news Thailand will move towards this direction
