After Sri Lanka declared a state of emergency earlier this month, the world has seen massive political unrest in the country as protestors call on the president and his powerful family to step down. Beautiful part of the world with some of the friendliest people and for sure, as someone who has dived all over the world. some of the best unheralded scuba diving sites on the planet.

Sadly  Columbo has often been a flashpoint but I wish a really friendly nation well.
