It's like 1984, not being able to really know what the truth is. Another credible Thai news source recently reported Anutin saying he WON'T declare Covid endemic 1 July.

Anutin doesn't know what he is doing tomorrow  -  let alone 2 months time!

As I mentioned in on of the forum many weeks ago.......the situation will be dragged until November 2022 and the emergency decree will be extended till then. This is to ensure that the APEC 2022 is run smoothly as Thailand is the host. Any political turmoil before that would be disastrous to the country and the ruling party. Till then there will be many flip flops here and there.

Like Schrödinger’s cat. We won’t know if it’s endemic or not until we get to July 1st😉

I suspect that if Thailand lags too far behind other countries in the region with its restrictions, political turmoil in some form will follow.

They're already so far behind, there isn't any point in stepping up to the starting gate

Emergency decree will be extended over and over again non-stop until mid-2023.

We've all had enough.  With over 100,000 cases a day, a few dozen slipping through at Swampy isn't going to make any difference.  You're more likely to catch it in  Thailand than bring it in.
