Unsafe levels of PM2.5 dust cloud Bangkok and surrounding areas today. Phasi Charoen district is the worst affected area, while other dangerous areas include: Phutthamonthon 1 Road in Taling Chan district, Lat Krabang Road in Lat Krabang district, Hirunrujee Road in Thon Buri district, and Charoen Nakhon Road in Khlong San district. Actually yes, air pollution has been shown to be carcinogenic, cause and exacerbate numerous respiratory illnesses , as well as death.  So yeah, I would say it is a "concern" that a simple mask will not cover.

Evidently your list is incomplete. If you cared to delve a bit deeper into the matter , you would find many, many, as in numerous,  studies linking air pollution to cancer. So watch out where the huskies go and don't you eat that yellow snow.
