The spirit of Songkran is in Thailand’s air, as is heavy traffic, as Bangkok residents make road trips to the Northeastern province of Nakhon Ratchasima today. Motorway 6, or M6, in Pak Chong district, is not yet open to public travel. It will be open to drivers for two periods: before Songkran from April 11 to 14, and after Songkran from April 15 to 18, from 6am to midnight. The area is reportedly heavy with traffic. Please make a note to tell everyone driving that speeding Kills!

Overtaking caution with on coming traffic!

Dont’t drive on the wrong side of road!

Slow down and get there in one piece!

It’s a total nightmare how Thais have no regard to speeding and overtaking!

And tailgating, Lane switching, Working lights, riding in the back of pickups, seat belts and no mobile phones or even watching movies while driving. Total nut jobs.

they had all better slow down as you can hardly see anything in front of you with the air quality in such a fine state that its in

ive given up putting butter on my toast in the morning, i just scoop up some air and trowel it on

I'd lived in Cyprus for 12 years and believe me, its much worse there as they drive with an arrogance and entitlement that thais don't have or not that I've come across, well except the white passenger buses that love to tailgate.

Drove from Ubon to Bangkok after songkran one year it took us fifteen hours to get back, never, ever again, I like Bangkok when it’s quieter.
