MP Thammanat Prompaew, the controversial convicted drug smuggler turned politician, is favoured to become the next secretary-general of the ruling Palang Pracharath Party, sources say. A meeting of the party’s general assembly will take place in Khon Kaen province today where an announcement may be made. The embattled Deputy Agriculture and Cooperatives Minister is considered to be the likely successor to Anucha Nakasai, the Prime Minister’s Office Minister and current secretary-general of the PPRP. I was going to start this post with the word unbelievable, but it is not.

Anything this gang of rotten liars and cheats do, is believable!

What is unbelievable is that the West continue to deal with them, and even supply them with vaccines!

This is a pariah country and should be shunned as much a North Korea.

Drug smuggler? According to the convicted drug smuggler it was "flour" he imported into Australia. He also reinvented his prison time, describing as a something like 'social housing where he stayed at night.'
