Two anti-viral medications will be added to the Covid-19 treatment plan in Thailand. The Department of Medical Services shared that the Molnupiravir and Paxlovid medicines have been approved for treating Covid-19 patients. Molnupiravir is intended to treat high-risk groups like elders and patients with chronic diseases. Relevant departments will discuss the use of Paxlovid. The primary Covid-19 medication, the anti-viral Favipiravir, will be limited for patients with moderate and severe symptoms only. It sounds like what they did when they couldn’t get good vaccines and bought the Chinese 2nd rate ones to look like they were do something. Now they can’t get enough of the effective treatments so they are throwing whatever they can get their hands on in hopes they won’t look like they failed, again.

Ditto. Along with about 1bn others. Booster last Monday which was something else, dont ask me what. Nary a sniff of covid. And free too. 😀

Hope you haven't spoken too soon, millions in lockdown now when the world is opening the gates to travel etc.

Lockdown, not to be confused with infected. One is a bit remote, despite the phones and balcony parties, the other is the phone and balcony parties with a sniffle. 😀
