Despite her stormy public life, Tangmo was a firm believer in Jesus Christ and often talked openly about her faith. In Thailand, less than 1% of the population is Christian, according to statistics. • At a press conference on Monday, Thailand’s national […]

Now this sounds very very fishy?

Now we need to find a motive?

Why would she jump off the boat?

Why did Robert not try to save her?

Why did he pull away the buoyancy ring?

Why did they all meet?

why did they not call Police immediately?

It seems the meeting was to create an alibi?????

The whole sorry episode wreaks. I enjoy coming to Thailand for the fine weather and natural beauty, but I never lose sight of what a disgraceful and corrupt country it is. That said, most of the world is the same. It’s just a mess run by greedy immoral people and aided by those who turn a blind eye to it.

Why did not one of them jump in to save her?

they had life jackets?

I don’t know ?

but they had a buoyant ring that they could have held onto!

This seems very strange that they also gave up looking for her without contacting police whilst looking?

Too many questions?

Not enough clean cut answers?

"Robert" (real one) not on boat, hiso was there and did the deed. After the real Robert was standing in and started panicing, high blood pressure etc, couldn't talk to Police etc. will not give hair sample, suddenly has a hair transplant to match the guy in the videos.

The whole lot are dirty and need to be locked up permanently. I hope none are on bail, can see a few disappearing to hide out with  "Boss".

Well done to netzitens for finding all the video the cops missed.

though a new theory says the boat’s rudder sliced her thigh

Since the boat has an outboard engine, what "usually" is the "rudder" on that one. Or on other speedboats, even with an in board engine? So that "new theory" is then the old one, the propeller cut her leg, isn't it?

Is the cut from the time of drowning? Or from afterwards? Not to firget, it is a busy river!

Are the medias so happy, to be able to write about it, that there is every day another headline?

Also the police still seems to be in a fishing expedition, or not tellin everything they found out, but at least in english media reports it reads like assumtions and the wait, that one if the "5" (who was the voice?) Breaks?

And the mother, wasn't she willing to settle for 10% , a "gift of 3 Mill" of the 30 Mill, her daughter could have made, in the next 30 years in a tv show?

Was the mother not distanced to / from the daughter? Why she gets a cut out of her death at all, then? Because she plays the medias? Will a book deal follow?

Is 1 Mill Baht a year for a TV show job really a pay for a superstar, in Thailand?

This case is confusing me.

I think it’s meant to. More smoke and mirrors with each passing day. Money is now changing hands and so those responsible will be able to live their life while she has died. Not to worry, a quick trip to the local Wat and a donation made will clear their conscience. Here’s to a long lingering painful death to those to blame.

I used to own and run a Maxum 1800 S sports boat for water ski-ing off the shores of Anglesey, North Wales. I have Level 2 Offshore Power Boat Certification and I could turn that boat around in an instant ...if required! And, that's out at sea on often choppy water. This was on still water!

I accept that the inboard power leg could cause propeller damage if you anywhere near it.... or, of course, if you turned around and accidently on purpose "ran over her body" whilst in the water!

If she was trying to pee off the back of the craft why would the driver not slow the boat down and cut the forward motion? I just don't buy the urinating story!!

You're right. Police have already debunked the "peeing" story as a lie. That is in fact NOT how she fell off the boat, hence the additional rounds of questioning and reenactments on the boat last week. Forensics results are forthcoming. The public doesn't know all the facts just yet.

I'm kind of leaning towards the notion here that she refused to "DATE"/ ESCORT some high ranking dude. So, in response, he ordered the "hit" on her to keep her quiet.... permanently!!!

Sadly, that is indeed what the "facts" seem to be pointing toward. Or some version of it. But for now, it's just a popular theory. Another possible twist is that she could have tried to escape and jumped from the boat. Then when her friends turned the boat around to pick her up, they lost control and accidentally ran over her, slashing her leg (or she might have tried to avoid them and dove underneath the oncoming vessel). Also, the skipper Robert didn't have a boating license.

Surely, the RTP have Marine or in/off-shore river police who know all this and the techniques to rescue an injured swimmer!

Joke of the day, for sure, @whitesnake . . . too serious to laugh at, though!

WHAT!!??? Are you suggesting the RTP are incompetent and inept at what they do?! I thought their role was to uphold the law and protect the KINGDOM!!!!

Only in case that fits in the tight schedule, to get rich on the job. Methinks.

The one or the other exceptions just proves the rule, of course.

So, it's not an urban myth then.... THEY ARE "USELESS?!"

Naaa, not always.

Sometimes they are really fun to watch, 3 of them "ruling" a traffic circle with 5 roads attached to it.

Ok, only if you are not wanting just to pass that circle, called Ha Yek. ;-)

The leaked video stills are of a Cobalt sports boat bow-rider with inboard engine! The one in the link above is a re-enactment using a Yamaha outboard! (not a clear image).

Shh, @whitesnake . . . the RTP will be figuring on no one - absolutely no one! - spotting that slight difference in design!

Days back I saw a photo of a boat on a trailer with a 300hp Merc outboard, whether that was the actual boat I don't know...

On the first day of reenactments, the police used a similar model boat (As shown in the linked article) not the original. Then then switched to using the original boat.

Maybe a Mercury (??) except Mercury brand is usually black...like a Marshall Amplifier will always be black and gold!!  Silver-grey is usually Yamaha or Mariner, if my boating memory serves me correctly.

Is your google on holiday? And yes, black it is.

Sorry, links not working.

So google: tangmo boat

Noted. I just can't understand why you would re-enact using an outboard powered craft for an injury that occurred whilst on board an in-board boat. Engine position and associated consequences are soooooooooo different! Like i said, comparing Yaris to Beemer; both cars but that's where the similarities stop! I am assuming this is RTP Forensics doing this?? Do we know???

Try to google, you should find an mercury outboarder  boat on a trailer with lots of forensics on it and lots of BiBs around.

So the question would be: why they used an in -board  for it.

Looks like you're onto something here, @whitesnake! Stop the video at 1:08 and there's no outboard in sight, just that short rear deck!

Edit: Correction

Nooooo, it's my mistake! There is in the first 2 x seconds! This Cobalt boat is powered by an outboard NOT in-board engine!

Yes, seen it now, as you say for a mere split-second at the start.

Everything points to criminal actions by more than one person, and yet the police want to close the case? Something stinks that’s for sure, unbelievable they are trying to say it was an accident!
