Thailand’s national police chief says the death of actress Tangmo seems to have been an accident. He says evidence shows the death of the celebrity in Bangkok’s Chao Phraya River appears to have been an accident. An autopsy report shows the actress died from drowning. Her body also had a large cut on her leg, possibly from the speedboat’s propellor. More results from a forensic examination will be released in a few days. Yes!

I believe her death was accidental but!!!

it was probably caused by showing off Speed boat driver with quick turns or sudden jolts to frighten the Victim!!

Egged on by his friends for fun!

Tragically causing her to slip and get cut by the propeller!

This is still Manslaughter by negligence !

Not an accident!

Did I read somewhere that there is a charge available to the police of Manslaughter through negligence?  What you describe surely fits in to that definition. 
 

If they drive their speedboats half as negligently as they do their pick-ups, motorbikes and cars, then it’s likely there is a good case.

I think @Hotlikechilly has nailed it. Manslaughter and 5 years is what the driver should get if there’s any evidence of playing around with the boat. Of course all the CCTV cameras along the river were not working due to scheduled maintenance that day, so we will never know!!
