unrealistic high number = most people, think, can not trust governments-institutes &religions
= not know, virus is dangerous = not know, vaccine is needed.

= start talk with people = know, virus is not dangerous for most.
when fear, guilts and lacks thoughts, are ended = feel free = daily enjoy. :)

Does anybody actually care about numbers anymore?

Didn't they recently announce that they were going to stop reporting daily covid cases?

It still amazes me that yesterday 74800 people were just getting their first dose of vaccine despite its roll out having been months ago. In Bangkok walk in centres in MBK shopping mall are virtually empty

My mother in law got her first dose yesterday actually and she's 78.

Not everyone lives in Bangkok!

The reason was that previously they only had chinocrap or chinofarm available which my wife was concerned about.

So waited and got Pfizer yesterday.

Everybody happy.

Taking from the Bangkok post...

"The figures did not include 22,509 positive results from antigen tests over the previous 24 hours."

So daily total is almost 50k. It's better to have the real numbers to be able to asses the severity against hospitalisations. Having accurate data is always important for many reasons.

Fair point about not everyone living in Bangkok although I live in a village in North East Isaan and managed to get 2 shots and a booster up there last year so I guess it depends on the province you live in .
