East of Rayong by around 20km, within sight of Koh Samet,  (don't know the name of the area) is a stretch of under developed beach, must be 15km long, that is pristine, clean beach and water and excellent for a day out. My visitors always love it.  Food is good too at the local vendors. Not so easy to get to I admit, but its a largely unknown area to expats and tourists. Dogs love it too.

This is great intel Pinetree, many thanks. I stayed in Ban Phe for 2 or 3 days a few years ago and on my full ‘middle day’ set out for the beach, but going east of Ban Phe, not west. Nice stretch of beach, lots of food available, a bit crowded but okay. The road was nice, I remember that.

Next time I will look at that area between Ban Phe and Rayong 👍
