The Court of Arbitration for Sport made the ruling on Monday morning, allowing the 15 year old to keep her gold medal in the team event last week, in which she was the first woman to land a quadruple jump — i.e. four full mid-air rotations — during Olympic competition. The sponsors of the 2022  Olympics should be made aware that we, the general public, will be boycotting their goods and services if this ROC ice skater is awarded her medal and allowed to continue competing in the competition.

Somebody has to take a stand against drug cheaters whether 15 years old or not.

I'm not that mad about it. She appealed to arbitration and won her case.

If you read CAS press release you may find out she has negative anti-doping test taken for Olympic games. So her recent victory is clear. That prohibited medication probably had effects (if any) only during local championship in december 2021. Anti-doping agencies failed to start disciplinary proceeding in time.

Actually this story is wrong she was cleared of nothing. The ruling was that she be allowed to continue because she is under age, 15, and that she may suffer psychological damage if she is blocked from competing. They went on to say that the international arbitration commission would review the case after the competition and does not rule out that she could be stripped of any medals that she might win. So that is hardly winning her case.

Well I think this story was written when it was breaking news, meaning not all the details had come out yet. There's certainly more to the story and we know where to find it, right there at the bottom: SOURCES.

They have yet to decide if she can keep her medal but they will most likely take that away.  That creates a real mess if she wins another one.  I think she is a heavy favourite so she probably will.  It's just a big dumpster fire to let her keep competing, I don't care what her age is or what the justification.  It poisons it for everyone else competing.

She tested positive in December. But the Russian anti doping didn't follow through. Also her coach hasn't such a fine history during her coaching carreer.
She should have been banned from competing since testing positive.
And now her mother comes with the excuse that she drank milk from the glass her grandfather had his medecine in. Medical experts stated that this could not lead to a positive test.
Russia has a long history of doping fraud.
