The song has to be a famouse song that Charted Expat not an album song.

Sorry, I mistyped "from".  The name of the song is "Learning to Fly"   I am not sure what album it is from, but was on the live Pulse album

C'mon guys , I had an ex boss/ex teacher was 10 years older than me, I wrote this down on the bonnet of the last car for sale at an auction, he came to me later and said " that's poetry" I explained  "nope it's from a song"-------- "This is the end, my friend"

Greatest song lyric of all time IMO.🙂

"Yes, to dance beneath the diamond sky with one hand waving free, silhouetted by the sea"

Maybe not the greatest, but one of my favorites is (from “Africa” by Toto):

”I know that I must do what’s right

As sure as Kilimanjaro rises like Olympus above the Serengeti”

A real bugger to sing at karaoke after a couple of cans 😂

"We're just two lost souls, swimming in a fish bowl, year after year"

Never sung that on Karaoke, bit too progressive for here. I think.🤓

That'll "Soon turn(ed) out to be a thing of the past".

Off Parallel Lines.

I thought it was "Soon turned out, to be a pain in the ass"👍

That's in a different verse, in both versions, Heart of Glass or the original Once I had a Love (aka The Disco Song) off Plastic Letters.
