Hopefully, they will ease local restrictions when the case numbers start to fall. Then, maybe they will drop the restrictions on visitors from overseas. Then, maybe we will visit - but not now.

Very true, I have confirmedtickets for April however even if things open up ( elimination of day 5 test) I’m not very trusting. Probably wind up going to the Philippines instead.

The numbers are not going to fall.

Its a common cold.

They need to stop testing for it unless it gets to be as strong as the delta.

Right now its just fear causing and excuses.

In many cases Omicron is like a common cold or can be flu-like.

I agree that testing will see higher numbers but the testing ensures any variants other than Omicron are detected.  Therefore, publishing ever-increasing '+ve test numbers' should stop.

Well let’s see …. What restrictions will change after the report in the Thaiger today?

NONE. Why you ask, simple, as Thailand will be in a Bubble for the Malaysians and Chinese. If anything the restrictions may tighten. ….. but then again that is a change. 😂😂😂

That is very true for the vast majority of the vaccinated and boosted - but not for the unvaccinated and not for the aged population (over 70s). This below sums up the dilemma - while deaths are increasing amongst the elderly, most people want the lockdowns removed - hard to have both.

Question?

Lesson Anxiety?

Changing COVID numbers?

That does not lesson anxiety it portrays misleading the public to compare from previous numbers?

Only changing attitudes for speeding crazy reckless drivers would lesson my anxiety on the roads in Thailand, as there at least 6 incedents of near collision every time I drive the car?

Its not the roads!

Its speeding drivers overtaking and doing crazy things?
