22 coronavirus-related deaths were reported by the CCSA today, raising the pandemic’s death toll in Thailand to 22,250 with 552 of those fatalities since the start of this year. In the 24-hour period since the last count, the CCSA recorded 9,909 new Covid-19 cases and 7,827 recoveries. There are now 86,473 people in Thailand being treated for Covid-19. This is almost on schedule. The prediction was it would hit 10k by end of January and 20k by end of February. With TNG v2 resuming, I think we get there easily. Pity all those now more likely to get caught up in the blossoming hospitel fiascos. Truth is all of this should be moot if we're counting less than 25 daily deaths from covid.
