Utter gibberish ….again. USA provides “sufficient” defensive weaponry to Taiwan. “Propaganda” definition - check it.

Then why don't they start by recognizing it as a country? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Why shouldn't they? It's part of their country.

Sorry, it is not and never will be. Taiwan is so far much better than China. It is the country of Taiwan. And the South Sea is not these bullies territory either.

Just a pretty boring statistic, China is responsible for 67% of counterfeit goods globally. Ever wondered why they are cheap and last weeks or months (if at all)?

Completely missed the point.

It's all conjecture fear porn and not anything but another fear mongering headline with no verifiable facts.

I disagree about everything being baseless, but you're absolutely right I don't get your point about fear being mongered and being akin to porn (which just sounds like an associative trick that falls on deaf ears).

For the everyday public (granted: 99.999%+), reading about NeoCoV doesn't affect them as it doesn't even exist in human society (only governmental rules matter).

Governments won't impose new rules for something that doesn't exist, although they might be more lenient towards inflating budgets related to e.g. health care and epidemiology (which would be a good thing). Even Thailand wouldn't continuously renew the emergency decree for a decade, just waiting for something that might happen.

Where's the fear you talk about?

You mean other than the three times as lethal bit?

Just because it's called a "Country of the United Kingdom" doesn't mean it's a sovereign country, or that the rest of the world considers it as such. For all matters they belong to the United Kingdom, and they should continue doing so.

You better get busy writing letters to France, Germany and all the other EU members telling them they are not countries then.

France, Germany and all the other EU members all have seats at the UN. Scotland does not. :)

Everything unofficial and under the table. Because the US still stands for the one China policy they themselves signed.

I think it was the UNs own decision. Nicaragua realised which side the bread was buttered in terms of trade.

It was the UN's decision purely because China opposed it, saying that only sovereign states can enjoy membership.
It's political by China as they refuse to accept Taiwan as a sovereign country.

Taiwan clearly meet the accepted definition of “sovereign state” which does NOT require “ recognition” by anyone but that self- determined state.

UN contradicting their own definition & rights of self- determination.UN should split into United Crap Nations  & United Free Nations. 😛

Scotland IS a Country with Devolved National Parliament controlling Reserved Internal Activities.

Two Separation Referendums have been held, each giving a NO vote.

CCP Referendum Present & Future Count: er, Zero.

Then don't come here trying to be a know-it-all. For as long as they don't have a UN seat, they won't be a country.

Chill out, take a breath, take some fresh air and let it go. You have got stuck on the CCP the same way a broken disc gets stuck on the broken part and as such keeps making the same noises again and again and again.

Let it go, Scotland has nothing to do with the CCP. Falling again and again into the Ad-Hominem like you have been doing, only makes you look, let's say, not very good.

Thread locked as it has wandered well and truly off topic.  You can all go bat crazy mad talking about Scotland, Taiwan and elsewhere in a General discussion forum if you wish.
