News Forum - UK Pensions in Thailand losing up to 20,160 baht a year
I’m not sure about that mate. As you will know, Thai authorities show very little creative thinking on such matters. Rules are Rules and Computer says NO are the norm. It’s something that would need to be tried and even then it would depend on the local Immigration office and vary from place to place. I was told that under Thai banking laws, any international transaction over 50,000 baht (think it was 50,000) means the receiving bank has to submit a document to the Thai central bank. Going to Kaisakorn bank where the Wise transaction takes place and gaining a copy of that documentation may help. However that has to be from the Kaisakorn bank branch in Bangkok. All rather messy. The real answer is for Wise to sort out their mess on this. They have the specific option on their app and so they understand the issue. They just need to sort out Kaisakorn bank and make sure the transaction is coded properly. -

Absolutely no grounds. Living cheek by jowl with your neighbors. Oh and in the master bedroom if your wife is using the vanity mirror she can see you behind her curling out a little beige number on the potty.
