International Driving Permit (to prevent constant fines)
Yes. Consider yourself lucky you can just go to the post office. I don't think you have to pay very much in the UK either. Here in Canada we have to go to the Auto Association, which runs about as slowly as the DMV. I usually have to wait around for 45min to 1hr. It's costs about $30 + 2 passport photos last time I checked. -

Cannabis legalization, anyone start using?
I think that's the whole reason they did it the way they did, just like how the adult sex industry is technically illegal. -

Russia v Ukraine - How This Is Going To End
How’s that working for Russia? Not well when we have stories about an almost complete lack of any interdiction of weapons and supplies (one of my past posts). Again it’s about saving Russian soldiers lives and progressing the war. Shocking to say the least -

No, never done it before and won't be bothering now. What others do is up to them. -

International Driving Permit (to prevent constant fines)
Correct. They're valid for one year. If you live in Thailand obviously you'll have a Thai license so no IDP/IDL needed. If you're just visiting it's worth having in my opinion. Takes me 5 minutes to get one in my country and it costs very little.
