News Forum - Thailand to be “post pandemic” this week, not endemic
I think that while most measures will disappear July 1, the remaining ones won't until August 1 at the earliest, depending on what is decided at the big CCSA meeting on July 15. -

News Forum - Thailand to be “post pandemic” this week, not endemic
I understand the decree will expire on July 31 and that was decided upon on May 20. Whether it will be extended beyond July 31 will be decided on July 15, at the next big CCSA meeting. My fear is the government will continue to extend it as long as they can, but maybe, if things go well, we might be in for a pleasant surprise and they won't. -

News Forum - South Thailand’s Muslim leaders reject weed, liquor, and same-sex partnerships
Whereas you feed on misinformed illiterate generic hyperbole spouted by racists. Let's face it you have a little form. To engage with a hater is a fools errand due to the general level of IQ. (As an example give us some names of academics with the same level of irrational hatred) I've asked you for figures (facts as you call them) so lets have them, then we can discuss further ... -

News Forum - Bangkok’s new governor posts video of his maskless jog
I'm hearing lots of stories of people getting into malls, 7-11s and other businesses unmasked without issue. However, there is a caveat. Stories of "successful" maskless entry are mainly limited to touristy/expat areas such as Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket and Hua Hin. There have also been stories of refusal, such as one guy who was told to wear a mask to enter Big C Chiang Rai, but well, that's because it's Chiang Rai, which isn't a particularly touristy place, especially not at the moment. Makro seems to be the strictest across the board as they continue with the charade (even handing out hand sanitizer), while Central Malls seem to be OK, at least in tourist areas. Suvarnabhumi airport is fine too, but it was also fine to be maskless there 3 weeks ago, however, there are definitely fewer masked faces now than earlier in the month. An increasing number of tourists/passengers/visitors at the airport aren't wearing masks or on their chins. Probably 15-20% in total (5-7% not masking, the rest chin maskers).
