Can anyone please help

Iam so confused i have traveled to Pattaya many times And i am due to travel to Pattaya for Sonkran in April does anyone really know the rules as they stand today 18/01/22 and do you think it will change by April .thank you X

Wait - by February the rules could well be stabilised in Thailand. If that happens then more tourists will book, and more airlines and tour companies will get back involved.  But be careful if there is still a wave of pandemic infections at that time - test positive and you will be quarantined or hospitalised for 10-14 days - sneak out of the hotel and you could be deported and banned for up to 10 years.  Things are starting to ease down a bit - even Anutin is seeing that tourists are needed, but they hate the idea of being detained for 10-14 days of a 21 day holiday.  Hopefully by Songran it will all be eased down. But keep in mind that it was Songran last year when the Covid infections skyrocketed in Thailand. They will be scared of the same thing in an election year.

Looks as if there will be redoing of the T&G by 1 Feb.
