Get vaccinated or lose your job. That’s the thrust of new workplace laws being introduced in Singapore. From today an earlier concession, allowing negative-testing employees to keep working in offices, is dropped. Govt forcing their hand on their citizens how  tyrannical is this.Thats right up Singapore’s alley.

They held a referendum? Ballots? A show of hands, or perhaps an "all-for,Aye/all-opposed,Nay" call? I must have missed that. What was the final tally?

Singapore is Democratic. Follows that subject law was passed democratically.😎

But something like 96% are vaccinated 

Any future longer-term vaccine adverse effects that occur might affect those 96% that complied with that mandatory vaccine requirement. IMO there is an enormous risk in getting the vaccine and we will see adverse long-term effects in the future. Let’s hope your firm has deep pockets because they will need some if the victim's insurance is unwilling to pay any compensation for vaccine related deaths/disabilities.
