The focus should be on protecting the most vulnerable directly through targeted measures and identifying high risk situations for those people and letting them decide.

Bangkok traffic is dangerous, are tourists going to be screened for street crossing skills, and moped riding ability and safety knowledge?

Maybe hold them in Phuket for a week of pedestrian safety training and moped safety basics? It would save lives!

It's interesting how these "billionaires" who presumably have advisors on such matters, fail to understand that the current "vaccines" that, btw, do not infer any immunity, currently admittedly do not provide any level of protection for the current Omicron variant. Look no further than the this week's open statements from the CEO of Pfizer who tells us, that it will be well into March before any "booster" jabs will be Omicron protective.

You know that his job is to sell more vaccines, every year. It has been obvious throughout the world that vaccinated people don't get very sick from Omicron. Thai government need to relax and make sure people get vaccinated with the current vaccines.

Apart from that, traffic in Thailand takes far more lifes than Covid ever did, often young people on motorbikes. But they never care about that since they're not affected. I know it's a different subject but they really need to spend their resources differently.

We dont need the advice billionaires who are thinking only of making more money to tell the people of the nation what to do about their health. We need the scientific expertise which is available in Thailand to tell us. They know that whats good for health is whats good for business.

Exactly right about traffic deaths. Why don't we have a daily count of traffic deaths and injuries in the daily news?

Hi, @grobinand welcome to the forum! Nice to see you have such confidence in Thailand's expertise in science and health matters. I wish I could share it . . . but sadly, I don't!
