Could we say that this tragedy was "COVID restrictions" related?

For everyone talking about deaths from Covid how about deaths from economic damage from blanket restrictions related to covid?

Of course he could have lost his job for many reasons....

Before reading the story I knew it had to be about money or land.

People who don't prepare to compete in a labor market and/or who don't save for a rainy day...often suffer terribly when that rainy day arrives.

It's not a matter of "if" a rainy day will arrive but rather "when" and how rainy.

I pity the people who find themselves in these financial struggles, but can't help thinking that much of it has to do with their own actions and decisions, possibly going back years, if not decades.
