Nice to see Praytwat spending the public purse on things that don't matter.... yet again! Whilst the population is struggling to make Covid ends meet, here's this tool about to fritter away a few more million baht on something totally unnecessary!!

Yeah and the work will go to someone's cousin company.

Hasn’t it always been who you know! And if not ,when submitting proposals its still who you know!

And to enact law to avoid conflict of interest! There are ways to get around that too.

Who cares! Its a fact of life

4 meters high and some dig 50cm underneath it would be hilarious. But why so scared of own people. ?

Most of them are scared of their own shadow.

Now this is showing how clueless the Govt is …. Look at the uproar that raising the fence has stirred up. If Sir Humphrey from Yes Minister was going to release a statement for this, he would say roadworks were to be carried out around the building…. Which would lower the road. Fence would stay at same height!

Yeah, what can you say,"clueless" comes to mind. Is it equipped with camera's on each corner so the outside world can be surveyed, is it going to be a decorative steel fence or a concrete number with broken glass along the top. 555

"PM Prayut is calling for the height to be raised by at least 50% or more, saying that the fence that protects Government House, where the Prime Minister and top cabinet officials have their offices, should be somewhere between 3 and 4 metres high."

why not just make the height he really wants it , say 30-40 metres,

complete with barbed wire atop

What are they afraid of? The great rebellion?

Which of course, would never come about as it's well known to all that the current [and predecessors] govt exist for the best interests of the people and thrive on this very presence. 🙄🤫🤨

Stop those buggers escaping.
I wonder if the members of parliament will organise an escape committee and build a tunnel?
