Thailand’s other Tigers

Thailand’s wild tiger population is listed as ‘critically endangered’. The Indochinese Tiger (Panthera tigris corbetti), the species that lives in Thailand, is thought to be down to only 600-650 animals, approx. 200-250 in Thailand, the rest spread throughout Myanmar, Vietnam, Laos and southern China. The Thaiger actively supports Save Wild Tigers (savewildtigers.org) and urges locals and tourists not to visit the local Tiger Zoos and attractions.
