Bus driver fined after dropping oil on Patong Hill – VIDEO

A bus driver has been fined after his bus dropped oil onto the road as it was coming down from Patong Hill. Motorbike drivers had been been injured after slipping on the oil slick.

The CCTV footage shows the incident when the bus was going down from Patong Hill, dropping oil on the road along the way. The incident was reported by Kathu Police today.

Police says the incident actually happened two weeks ago but one of the victim, who sustained injuries from slipping over on the slick, has only recently reported it to police.

The bus driver, 46 year old Pataweekorn Sangpradap, has now been fined 10,000 baht by Kathu Law Enforcement officers for dropping oil on the road after officers were able to track down his bus.
